Orbital EPC Division is a well-established project management and procurement department catering to the Oil and Gas industry. We undertake expansion and modification projects for Oil and Gas production stations, process industry and water and wastewater stations.

Depending on the complexity, engineering is outsourced to reputed engineering companies and Orbital delivers the projects in completeness, including process guarantee and maintenance services. Our core strength is derived from the expertise of the work-force and the use of technology at its best. Planning and realization are embedded in the ERP system which ensures a timely completion resolving the technical challenges as well as the inherent delays of projects. Contingencies in projects are always consumed at the last and not in the start of the project.

Orbital has a strong workforce of 400+ employees, supplemented by hired workforce on project-to-project basis totaling a labour force of 1000+ at peak.

Orbital management has put emphasis on local workforce deployment wherever possible and training programs are tailored to make the national manpower eligible for higher level of responsibilities to meet the organizational goal of less dependency on foreign manpower. In country value, Orbital has been a front runner in the operations where material and service are primarily rendered with in Oman.

Our key customers are Petroleum Development Oman LLC, ORPIC, Daleel Petroleum, OXY and OGC in Oil and Gas, & HAYA, PAEW, RAECO and OETC in the infrastructure segment. We have completed many projects with Manufacturing units, Industrial segments like Jotun, Asian paints, National Mining Company, Al Bahar, Vale, OARC to name a few. Our customer base is always expanding and our success being the preference by the existing clients. We are registered with Tender Board of Oman, Ministry of Oil and Gas, PDO, MOD and most of the government and non-governmental organizations.

Apart from complete EPC projects, Orbital also undertake independent Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation and Mechanical projects as sub-contractor to Major EPC projects in Oil and Gas, refining and infrastructure projects. Orbital has associated itself with STS, Al Hassan, Cadagua Spain, ABB Italy, TAV Turkey, Hyundai Rotem etc. Line of expertise ranges from Civil buildings, Equipment Foundations to 33 KV Overhead lines and substations.

Orbital is currently ISO 9001 certified in its operational areas and managing an independent HSE system. Our HSE system has been based on PDO standards and further fine-tuned as per client requirements especially when it applies to OXY, BP and Haya Water. The changes in HSE requirements are seamlessly adapted to HSE system by our team. We are currently working on implementing an Integrated Management System (IMS ) incorporating ISO 9001, OSHAS 18001 and ISO 14001 in occupational safety and environmental compliance.
